Attica 2016

A soul journey to Attica, visiting some less known but more powerful archaeological sites,

in combination with the healing effect of special spiritual seminars.

Through this journey, these rarely visited archaeological sites will instill in our souls the energies they have kept alive for thousands of years. Keeping these impressions within us, we will let them grow during the evening seminars. Through their unique theme, the seminars will help us balance our emotional world, remind us to laugh and provide us with the potential for a deep spiritual transformation.

Chosen carefully from the great spiritual knowledge of the Ancient Greek tradition, effective therapies and meditative techniques will be taught as specific means that will help the state of our consciousness grow. A high quality combination! A journey into the spiritual cultural inheritance of Greece.

Day 1

Arrival in Athens. Pick up and check in at Athens Gate Hotel (or similar) in the center of Athens.

Dinner at the Roof Garden restaurant, which is located on the top floor and is offering a magnificent view to the Acropolis hill and the Athens city center.

It is a good opportunity to meet the rest of the team and familiarize yourself better with the philosophy of the trip.

Day 2

In the morning

 Tour in Athens. Acropolis, Acropolis museum, lunch in the area of the Ancient Agora and Plaka.

The Agora was the center of political and public life in Ancient Athens. It was a large open area surrounded by buildings of various functions. The Agora was utilized for commerce, political, religious and military activities.

In the afternoon

First seminar (part A): an archetypal journey of Self-awareness through the story of Homer's Odyssey. The adventures of Ulysses become a fount of knowledge that illuminates the difficulties we have to encounter in our lives and the way we should do it.

Dinner in a tavern.

Day 3

In the morning

First seminar (part B): The Return to Ithaca under the guidance of Ulysses. The Nostalgia for our true Residence and the Union with Penelope, our Higher Self, will encourage us to overcome all obstacles.

Snack in the hotel.

In the afternoon

Visit to the archaeological site of Sounio, Athens. We will visit not only the famous Temple of Poseidon, the Ancient Greek god of the sea, but also a very strong and powerful sacred place, just opposite: the Temple of Athena, the goddess of wisdom, spiritual consciousness, and the arts; A place where therapies sometimes take place even now.

Dinner in a local tavern, with a wonderful view to the sea and the sunset, beneath the temple of Poseidon.

Day 4

A full day sailing cruise (around 11 hours) from Piraeus port to the beautiful islands of Aigina, Poros and Hydra.

Day 5

In the morning

Visit to Amfiarion, 60 km north of Athens. A famous curative sanctuary in the ancient times, especially for the diseases of the soul.

Lunch in a local tavern, with a view to the sea.

In the afternoon

Second seminar: Work on the Conscious Presence. Meditative and practical exercises chosen from a primeval Ancient Greek inner teaching, that will help us develop within us this powerful 'weapon': to live our life with consciousness.

Day 6

In the morning

Visit to the archaeological site of the Temple of the fertility goddess Hera near Loutraki, Korinthos.

Lunch in a local tavern.

In the afternoon

Third seminar: Connection to the Source. The source of all modern therapeutic methods.

Day 7

Day free.

After agreement among the participants, we can choose one of the alternatives mentioned below: a visit to the Acropolis of Athens and the Museum of Acropolis, a visit to the National Archaeological Museum of Athens, a sightseeing tour in Athens by bus, an evening performance in Herodion Theater or The Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens, one of the best places to experience a live classical theater performance (if there is one at that specific day).

Departure
